Hi everyone! Today I will review Archmage’s game, Break The Targets. This is a cool little game by the King of Scratch, Archmage, where you are Mario and you jump on platforms and press the spacebar to smash targets that are floating around by the platforms. This game is based on Super Smash Bros Brawl and there is a similar game where you have to smash the targets (click here for gameplay video). It is similar to it but not by much. The graphics are a bit blurry and there are several glitches but I think it is a very decent game. Here is a screen shot of it…

This is definitely a 3.5 star game. There are lots of glitches and a weird platform script but all in all it’s a pretty cool game!

Beach Racer Review

Today, I will review johnno543’s game, Beach Racer. This is a nice starter game where you are a car and you are driving on a narrow beach path. You have to jump over objects coming at you like a river, oil slick, or a log. Some highlights of the game are the cool jumping system and the awesome graphics. The code is written very easily. There are no really complicated codes with advanced math functions and variables. I could probably write the code without looking at it. This game is excellent for a starter, tho. 3D Pong Review

Hey guys, today I will review my favorite game on Scratch, 3D Pong by JSO. This game is very impressive. You are controlling a yellow paddle (called a bat (click here for picture) and you battle another identical green bat. The object is to keep the ball (click here for picture) to not go in area that your paddle isn’t in. Is is truly my favorite game because of two things: 1 is the graphics and ball movement and 2 is the levels they rock. Click Here for a slide show of the levels… Also, this game is really intense if you press the “R” key because the ball rapidly curves and spins out of direction.

Yup, a definite 5 star game. It’s my favorite. It has great graphics, sweet music and sound effects, and gets me quite addicted. That’s all, folks!

Flea Review

Today I will review PeterC’s game Flea. It is a fun little game in which you are a flea (hence the name,Flea) and you must hop on platforms and avoid red lines. You need to touch the sky blue to switch levels. If you touch the red lines, then you die. it gets quite challenging after a while. Also, as you progress through the levels, you start seeing yellow boxes that help you move through tight spots. Here is a picture of it.
